Nike SB Dunk Low 'Green Apple' (2022)
The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Green Apple’ (2022) delivers a playful yet meticulously crafted addition to Nike SB’s storied Dunk lineage, translating a familiar everyday fruit into a bold, skate-ready design. Rooted in the Dunk Low’s enduring basketball-turned-skate silhouette, this release balances whimsical storytelling with the technical construction that has made the SB Dunk a staple both on the board and on the street.
Overview
The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Green Apple’ features a clean white leather base that provides a crisp foundation for its vibrant accents. Overlays arrive in a rich green suede, wrapping the toe, eyestays, heel, and collar to evoke the glossy skin of a fresh green apple while also delivering the durability and grip preferred by skaters. A contrasting red Swoosh cuts through the side panels, a deliberate nod to the fruit’s interior and a visual counterpoint that sharpens the overall colour palette. Apple-inspired details extend to the branding, with themed graphics appearing on the tongue tag and sockliner, reinforcing the concept without overwhelming the classic Dunk aesthetic. Underfoot, the sneaker retains the hallmark Nike SB Zoom Air unit and padded collar, ensuring impact protection and comfort remain central to the design.
